Well, y’know, the Lions wrapped up the 2021 season by surprising the Packers on January 9th. Rodgers played the first half, looked like himself, but Detroit broke out all kinds of trick plays and kept Green Bay guessing.
In the second half, the Lions grabbed a couple turnovers, held off Jordan Love, and chipped away ’til they pulled ahead.
When it was all said and done, Detroit took it 37–30—one of those wins where folks around here went, “Huh… maybe this team’s got somethin’ cookin’ after all.”
